Elderly

The elderly are typically delighted with the results of an unrefined food plan because the symptoms of overuse or addiction to refined foods are often attributed to inevitable aging.  These symptoms can include elevated cholesterol, blood pressure, and blood glucose which are commonly accept as diet-related.  But in the experience of refined food addiction practitioners and educators, the symptoms can also include health problems that are not commonly associated with diet.  These may include fatigue, sleepiness, disrupted sleep, joint pain, swelling, recurring infections, memory loss, depression and irritability.  The elderly are joyful when under an unrefined food plan, a variety of conditions are alleviated or put into remission entirely

The value of an unrefined food plan for the elderly poor is especially important.  This population often cannot afford medical care for conditions associated with refined food overuse induced by addictive cravings.  The benefits of an unrefined food plan for the elderly poor populations are doubled insofar as they are relieved of both the illness and the cost of treatment and overeating.
