Introduction

Since 2001, premiums for family health coverage have increased 78%.  Benefits now account for 30.2 % of employers' compensation costs.  The Foundations's Workplace Consulting Division is dedicated to reversing poor health trends in the workplace.  The Foundation educates employees about how to follow an unrefined food plan. The goal of eliminating refined foods is to curb cravings for refined foods and permit employees to make better food choices.  This in turn improves and may resolve expensive, diet-related health problems such as diabetes, heart disease, obesity, and high blood pressure.

The mission of the Workplace Consulting Division is to bring recovery from refined food addiction and sensitivity to employees and their families. For individual employees, the Foundation does this through education, prepared meals, feedback from health data, support groups, counseling, and recovery products such as meditation tapes, yoga tapes, and exercise equipment.  For the workplace itself, the Foundation provides guidance to management for maintaining a workplace food environment that is conducive reduced health care costs.

The Foundation has found that the workplace provides an environment which is very conducive to success with an unrefined food plan.  Employees naturally share news about the benefits of the food plan including weight loss, normalization of glucose and blood pressure, improved energy, and improved mood.  The rapid and consistent results provide highly-charged and effective motivation for employees to stick to the food plan and encourage other employees to join.
