Obese

The obese represent a population that may benefit from education about the addictive properties of refined food.  The Foundation has conducted a small pilot study that indicates that severity of refined food addiction correlates with Body Mass Index.  This finding is consistent with refined food educators and practitioners who find that obese people steadily lose 2 lbs per week on a food plan that eliminates refined food.  Reports are that under a regime free from refined foods, people no longer experience cravings and obsessive thinking about food and are thereby able to reduce the amount of food consumed.

The Foundation pilot study also found that obese people exercise significantly less and are more fatigued than overweight and normally-weighted people.  This finding is consistent with the observations of refined food addiction educators and practitioners who report that people become less tired after a four-day withdrawal from refined foods.  These two sets information suggest the possibility that refined food-induced fatigue may be a barrier to exercise that lead to obesity and may inhibit weight loss.
