The Refined Food Addiction Research Foundation

The Refined Food Addiction (ReFA) Research Foundation is dedicated to building healthier lives free from refined food addiction by preventing, curing, and diminishing suffering from ReFA and its manifestations such as obesity, diabetes, stroke, and heart disease. It pursues these goals through research, professional education, public awareness, consumer products, and business consulting.
ReFA Research Foundation is prepared to conduct important, efficient, effective studies and public awareness projects related to refined food addiction.  The Foundation is well positioned to translate research results into treatment and can thus be expected to help arrest and reverse the epidemic of diet-related diseases suffered in the United States and increasingly in other industrial countries. Because the consequences of refined food addiction can be devastating and yet, can be reversed within days of abstinence from addictive refined foods, the Foundation operates with a great sense of both urgency and hope.

This website is designed for many different vistors including recovering food addicts, researchers, media, and those who just want to learn more.  Please send questions and concerns to joan@refinedfoodaddiction.org.
