The Refined Food Addiction Questionnaire is copyrighted and has several patents pending. It is available free of charge to researchers for research projects with permission. The Foundation sincerely hopes to encourage the inclusion of refined food addiction assessment in studies of diet-related diseases such as obesity, diabetes, heart disease, stroke. It would like to encourage the development of knowledge about the relationship between refined food addiction and other conditions such as learning disorders and mood disorders such as depression and inappropriate anger and anxiety. 

The Refined Food Addiction Questionnaire is also available for commercial applications for a small fee. Such application might include assessment at a variety of health, addiction recovery, and weight loss facilities.
